In this unit, you focus on one element of poetry each day.

You define the element, look at examples of that element in published poems, and write a simple poem that includes that element.

You will complete a a journal with your own poems in it.

You also create an anthology that is a combination of your own poems and published poems.

You will identify the poetic elements in each poem.
