Favorite Books

As you know, I LOVE BOOKS! Many of you have asked about my favorite recommendations. Here is a partial list:

Positive by Paige Rawl

Stormbreaker, by Anthony Horowitz, is an action packed adventure. The main character is a spy who is challenged to discover the truth about his family and save the world.

The Wizard of Earthsea, by Ursula Le Guin, has everything a good fantasy book needs. It begins with a powerful, young wizard who doesn't know how to use his gifts. He makes many mistakes and ends up endangering the entire world.

The Supernaturalist, by Eoin Colfer involes a boy saving the world from supernatural beings with a curious group of renegades.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, by Mark Haddon is a mystery about the murder of a dog told from the perspective of a boy with autism.

The Island of the Blue Dolphins, by Scott O'Dell is about a girl who finds herself trying to survive alone on an island.

Make Lemonade, by Virginia Euwer Wolff is about a girl who decides to make the best of her life and to help others along the way.
